4.2 Local Database

The application uses a SQLite database to store the following information:

Backup records (time, file names, backup status)
OCR recognition results
Application settings
All database files are stored locally on the device

5. Backup Functionality

5.1 Desktop Backup

The application provides optional desktop backup functionality:

You can download and install PackProof Backup Server (desktop software)
Backup photos and videos to your computer via local network (Wi-Fi)
Important: The backup process occurs entirely within your local network
Data does not transmit over the internet
You have complete control over backup timing, frequency, and storage location

5.2 Backup Data Security

Backups use HTTP protocol for transmission within your local network
We recommend using the backup function in trusted network environments (such as home or office Wi-Fi)
All backup files are stored in your specified computer directory
You can delete backup data from your device or computer at any time

6. Data Use Purposes

The data we collect is used solely for the following purposes:

Providing Core Functionality: Photo capture, video recording, backup, OCR text recognition
Improving User Experience: Optimizing interface and features based on usage statistics
Technical Support: Assisting with issues you encounter
